Day 1-March 1,2023

This day was my first day in our Work Immersion at the Bureau of

when i entered their station because i have no idea what to do. Then
suddenly one officer approached us and discussed us some important
thing about BFP. He is Fire Officer F03 Berson L. Castro the one who
discussed what are the rules & regulations of the BFP. He teach us
about other physical activities and to being aware to the environment
especially during the rescue stage. Handling and proper caring of the
citizen. I can say that my first day turned out good and I'm looking
forward for my next days here in BFP San Carlos City Pangasinan. I

Contain Breathing Apparatus, this SCBA is the tank that they are
using when the smoke or fog is heavy. They discussed about the

myself with the station of BFP. I enjoyed this day & I'm blessed to be
part of this work immersion.

we all did it with a teamwork because in BFP having a teamwork is
very important to make your job very good.

10
Day 7-March 8,2023

On the seventh day we learn how to proper use of fire extinguisher

and BFP functions. Some of the officers together with the interns by
different schools,we had a firefighter. We are surprised because we are
actually working on how to repair and use noozle and hose. We’ve
been taught how the right Noozle holds and the right hose truck is too
much. It’s not just another type of trowing and hose fixing. Here’s a
Butterfly, Donut Roll,Double Donut Roll, Figure of 8, Accordion. This
day I learn a lot and it was so amazing.

11
Day 9- March 13, 2023

On our nine day FO1 Robert Joseph P. Romero teach us what

are the First Aid and Bandaging. He teach us different types of
bandaging and when to put it.Bandaging has a two types which is
BROWED PHASE and NARROWED PHASE. Under Broad Phase has a
three kinds these are the Top of the Head, Arm Sling and the Chest
and Back Injury. Under Narrowed Phase there are also three
kinds, these are the Forehead Injury, Forearm and Leg Injury and the
Ear,Check and Jaw Injury. When sir Joseph shared hese bandaging to
us we all do amazed to them because they are so professional when it
comes to their job and all I can say it is not easy to become a
firefighter. He told us to take care of ourselves first also shared to
anyone what are they taught us. Nine day is a very enjoying day.Full
of learning.

12
Day 10- March 14,2023

This is the last day and honestly it is sad because the people here already
accept us like a family but we have to say farewell to them because we need
to.But before ending this day we have our last activity a Fire Fighting First
when we arrived at the fighting venue we had our exercise and then we have
already done our long-awaited firefighting, When we finished we were rinsed
down with Fire Truck water and we were already firefighting and we went
back to BFP station. Officers tackled about the proper and right way to be a
firefighter. Because of this activity I realized that being a firefighter is not
easy,it is very hard and officers told us what is the feeling when you are in
the situation when there is fire and we are amazed that these firefighters
who are with us the real heroes. They are not firefighters for nothing. They
were all blessed and lucky that nothing wrong happened to them when they
are on-duty. This BFP station help us to learn how to save our own and to
save also others. They help us to be more careful in everything specially
when it comes to making our own decisiona in life. This is the best yet so sad
last day indeed.
