Amigurumi Heart

Legend:
MR- Magic Ring

inc - Increase (2 Single Crochet into the same Stitch)
dec - Decrease (1 Single Crochet worked into 2 stitches)

Pattern Notes
- As you work through the pattern be sure that you count carefully and use stitch markers
to keep track of the first stitch in each row.
- Amigurumi requires a tight stitch, if you crochet loosly, use a smaller hook. Keep those
stitches close, we don’t want to see stuffing.

On the 1st Heart Top you make, do a slst and FO, work in the end tail. Pull the starting

Work around the remaining edges of the 2 heart tops. 14 stitches on


the 2nd heart top, and 14 stitches on the 1st heart top made, for a total
of 28 stitches around.

If you are using safety eyes, install them now, and begin to stuff heart.
Add enough stuffing to make it semi-firm so that you’ll have enough
stuffing to work into the bottom point of heart that you are about to
create and finish. See Fig. 4

the end. Now massage the heart to work all the stuffing evenly

Using some thin yarn or Embroidery thread stitch a mouth onto


the of heart. If you want keychain or brooch findings could be added.
Use of ribbons, cords, or yarn could be used to create a hanger for
you project. Embellishing the heart is up to you.
