 Small amounts (less than 1 skein)
of worsted weight yarn
in gray, white, blue and black
 Stitch marker
 Crochet hook in size F
 Fiberfill stuffing
 Large tapestry needle
 Scissors
 (2) 6-mm safety eyes
Stitches & Techniques:
 Sc: single crochet
 Ch: chain
 Mr: make magic ring
(Alternately, you can ch 2,
6 sc in 2nd ch from hook)
 Whipstitch
 F/o: Fasten off

Hershey’s Kiss– top
With Gray
Rnd 1: Make magic ring (mr), 6 sc in
ring (6 sts). Place marker in first st for beg of
rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: Sc in each st around (6 sts).
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st;
rep from * around (9 sts).
Rnd 4: Sc in each st around (9 sts).
Rnd 5: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts;
rep from * around (12 sts).
Rnd 6: Sc in each st around (12 sts).
Rnd 7: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts;
rep from * around (15 sts).
Rnd 8: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 4 sts;
rep from * around (18 sts).
Rnd 9: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 5 sts;
rep from * around (21 sts).
Rnd 10: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 6
sts; rep from * around (24 sts).
Rnd 11: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 7
sts; rep from * around (27 sts).
Rnd 12: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 8

embroider small smile (use photo as a guide).
Hershey’s Kiss– bottom
With Gray
Rnd 1: Make magic ring (mr), 6 sc in
ring (6 sts).
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around (12 sts).
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st;
rep from * around (18 sts).
Rnd 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts;
rep from * around (24 sts).
Rnd 5: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts;
rep from * around (30 sts).
Rnd 6: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 4 sts;
rep from * around (36 sts). Fasten off,
leaving a long tail for sewing to the top piece.
Line up stitches from the top and the bottom
and whipstitch together. When the piece is
almost closed up, stuff firmly. Finish stitching
together, weave in ends.
Kiss Wrapper
With White
Foundation Row: Leave a long start-
ing tail. Ch 9. Sc in 2nd ch from hook
and each across (8 sts).
Row 1: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each st across
(8 sts). F/o, weave in ends.
Using bright blue yarn, embroider the word
KISS on the face on the wrapper. Using start-
ing tail, sew to top of Hershey’s kiss. Weave
in ends.
