Stimulus Choice Assessment Summary Data

Instructions:

• Beginning with item #1: Count the number of times the item was presented.

• Next, count the number of times your child either approached or consumed the item (count both
the APs and the Cs).

• Divide the number of times the child approached or consumed the item by the number of times the
item was presented. (#AP=C/#presentations).

• Repeat this procedure with all of the items.

• These are the percentages of times that your child either approached and/or consumed each item.

• The item with the highest percentage can be assumed to be the most highly preferred by your
child.

• In order to help you easily and quickly see which items are the most preferred by your child, it is
helpful to graph these percentages into a bar graph.

• Along the X axis (horizontal line) the items are written in order of most to least preference.
