Program Features
1.Program accepts ecc. Of load more than B/6.
2.The overturning moment is balanced by a couple formed by +ve pressure(upward) near toe and -ve pressure(downward
producing tension on bottom face near toe and on top face near heel.
3.The program checks whether the overburden pressure is at least equal to absolute value of Pmin.(downward pressure a
4.The program checks whether the uplift force is at least balanced by the weight of overburden and the footing self.
5.Factor of safety in both the cases is 1
6. Pt min is taken as 0.06% each way on each face or 0.12% each way on one face.
7.Program checks the bond stress for reinforcement and increases the number of bars if necessary.
8.Spacing of bars is restricted to 300mm
Limitations of Program
1.**Program does not accept 0 value for axial load P. If P = 0 the pressures are 0 irrespective of presence of moment.
This is due to the fact that in formula P/A(1+ 6*Ex+6*Ey) when P=0 the whole thing is 0
2.Program is not suitable for biaxial bending
3.Program does not accept -ve value for Moment
4.If M is 0 program considers NA at infinity and calculates pressures.
5. Pmin if -ve only near the edge of footing program some times gives no long bars but gives short bars.

8.Spacing of bars is restricted to 300mm
Limitations of Program
1. There is no provision for My. The raft can be desined to resist additional moment from My.
However, if My1 & My2 are different the srap beam will be subjected to torsion.
2. There is no provision for -ve BM under columns due to uplift or otherwise
3. In case there is any restriction for L3 (projection beyond col2) the beam will be subjected to trapezoidal pressure.
The slab will be trapezoidal. SF & BM formulae will change. Currently there is no provision for this.

1.**Program does not accept 0 value for axial load P. If P = 0 the pressures are 0 irrespective of presence of moment.
This is due to the fact that in formula P/A(1+ 6*Ex+6*Ey) when P=0 the whole thing is 0

3.Program does not accept -ve value for Moment
4.If M is 0 program considers NA at infinity and calculates pressures.
5. Pmin if -ve only near the edge of footing program some times gives no long bars but gives short bars.
