Covenant is an agreement between two or more persons to do or to


refrain from doing a certain act.

1. MEDIATOR. Mediator must be called by God. Eph 4:12-13,


Duties of a Mediator. Eph 4:12-13
1. To perfect the saints. Vs 12
2. To do all works of ministry.
3. To edify the body of Christ.
4. To unify men in the body of Christ.
5. To unify men in the doctrine
6. To perfect the Church in Christ.
7. To bring men to maturity in Christ.

2. SANCTUARY. Sanctuary, this is where a covenant take place (holy place


and holy of holies).
- It was a mediator who had to enter Holy of holies.
-Sanctuary, is a safety place from persecution or from other dangers.
-Our God is God of positions. No positions, no possessions.

3. TERMS AND CONDITIONS. In conditions there is a vision. In a vision


there is promises, in promises there is blessings and curses.

Remarkable covenant was called the Abrahamic covenut becouse God
made this covenant with abram
God was going to bless Abram in canaan land but later canaan land became
a promise unto children of Abram.
Isaiah 51:1-3, bible says to us to look to the rock (Abraham and Sarah).
Eph 2:13, even us gentiles we were added on this wealth. Abrahamic
covenant divided into other two covenants; Sarahic and Hagaric covenant.

- Gen 12: 5, Abram took his wife, Lot, and other People.
-Gen 15, In this covenant there is future for Jews and our future.

Gen.12.1 - Now the LORD had said to Abram: "Get out of your country,
From your family And from your father's house, To a land that I will show
you.

. Covenants provide a binding since of commitment.
Parties obligate them selves into that relationship.
They provide a strong since of security.
Covenants are vehicles of God’s expressed will and purpose.

. Covenant are a yard stick of faithfulness. They can reveal the faithfulness
of a person

2 The categories of covenants.


1. Divine covenants/Covenants of hope.
2. Human covenants.
3. Diabolic/devilish/satanic/covenants of Death

3. EDENIC COVENANT.
Is the covenant which was made by God and man in the Garden of eden
before Adam sinned. It was Revocable and condition was obedience.
Covenant always involve two or more parties but these parties are applied;
1. Unilateral. 2. Bilateral. Unilateral: Is where by the party on one side was
solaray responsible to Carry out the Terms. It creates binding obligations on
one side on one of the parties only. Bilateral: Is where both parties have
terms to Carry out. It creates a binding obligations on both parties to the
contract or the covenant. Now this Edenic covenant was unilateral. Gen
1:26-2:24 Parties of Edenic covenant. a) Mediator was Adam. b)
Terms/conditions was obedience and promise. Gen 2:17. The promise was
life and Death. c) Sanctuary was Eden. d) Blood/consideration was life. e)
Seal/token was tree. Solaric, Eden, and Adamic all these covenants were in
Garden of eden.
