I. The Parable of the Prodigal Son is one of the parables of Jesus in the Bible, appearing in
Luke 15:11–32. Jesus shares the parable with his disciples, the Pharisees and others. In the
story, a father has two sons. The younger son asks for his portion of inheritance from his
father, who grants his son's request.

II. 1. It means people who recognise their own spiritual poverty, their need for God.
2. It means if you cry, it will get better
3. Those who forgo worldly power will be rewarded in the kingdom of heaven.
4. It means if you thirst after righteousness, you want to live a godly life
5. this verse means if you give mercy, you shall receive it
6. This verse means people that go all out, not halfway, will see God
7. It's about helping people reconcile who have broken relations among themselves, but more
importantly, with God
8. It means if you thirst after righteousness, you want to live a godly life
