RE: Application for Community Sponsorship Officer Position
I hereby express my interest in the community sponsorship officer position that is currently being advertised in
your company. I am aged thirty years with a Bachelor’s degree (Second Class Upper Honours) in
Development Studies of Makerere University.
I currently work as a Relationship Officer at United Bank for Africa (UBA) with previous
experience as a cluster leader in Mubende and Iganga districts under the ACDP-MAAIF e-
voucher Project. Still under the same bank; I worked as a direct sales agent. I also trained and
volunteered at Actogether Uganda and Multitech Business School.
On a more personal level; I am self-motivated with a positive attitude towards learning. I have
considerable knowledge of all the attributes that you are specifically looking for, namely;
community mobilization, computer literacy, planning, coordination and reporting skills have
worked on a MAAIF project in districts of Iganga, Bugweri, Bugiri and Mubende for the E-
Voucher system.
I believe I can leverage on my education background and work experience to add value to Save the Children International if
given the chance.
