Child Welfare South Africa: Roodepoort is a non-government organization which caters for children who are in
need of care and protection, including their families.

CWSA: Roodepoort seeks to appoint a Social Auxiliary Worker, based in Johannesburg.

Requirements:

 Diploma/Certificate in Social Auxiliary Worker

 Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a social Auxiliary Worker;
 Registration with the SACSSP;
 Form 30;
 Report Writing skill
 Valid code 08 drivers licence and able to drive;
 Computer literacy;
 Ability to work under pressure;
 Fluency in English and at least two African languages
 Excellent communication skills, interpersonal and team management skills;
 Strong analytical and administration skills

Responsibilities

 Ability to plan, implement and evaluate programs

 Performing any other duties as required by the social worker/Supervisor
 Assessing and training of prospective foster parents
 Answering calls and taking messages for Social Workers
Previous work experience as a Statutory Social Auxiliary Worker will be an advantage.
