An emotion is a powerful feeling.

Happiness is among the various emotions that individuals go

through. It could be the most significant sensation a person can experience, and it is the one that
everyone wants to pursue, but unfortunately, often these people just get a taste of it. According to
Aristotle, happiness has two facets: hedonia or pleasure and eudaimonia, mostly known as well-being or
a life well-lived. I believe that our actions should be guided by what provides us the most happiness
while causing no harm to others.

Happiness, according to Aristotle, depends on obtaining most of the goods: health, prosperity,
education, and so on, throughout our lifetime, which leads to fulfillment. This entails us to decide and
act responsibly, some of which may be really tough. As a result, some people seek pleasure as it's easy
to obtain, although it usually has negative effects not only for yourself but for others as well. One
instance is substance use, that now is getting increasingly prevalent in our society today. By taking it,
one could quickly take one's thoughts off of problems and feel intense pleasure. However, such short-
term satisfaction will surely lead to long-term pain. But all wonderful things in life also have suffering, to
put it lightly. Doing assignments, exercising, or having a baby can have painful experiences but leads to a
happy outcome. With this, we should develop a decent attitude needs a drive to do the right thing,
despite in tough circumstances.

To sum it up, being true to ourselves and being who we are in our heart, our soul, and our
character is important. To do something that keeps us happy really shouldn't harm anyone except it is
for the better. It is a matter of moral choice with which we must contend.
