Mythic Entertainment 3919 Old Lee Highway Suite 82A Fairfax, VA 22030 Dear Mythic Entertainment, I am writing you today in regards to applying for a summer internship position with your studio. I originally heard of the positions your company offers from the internship program listed on the main Electronic Arts job page. I am extremely interested in the possibility of working for your company specifically when it comes to the internship positions in EA, as I have experience with the games developed by your studio. Currently I enrolled as a Computer Science major at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. While I am classified as a sophomore, as of the fall semester of 2011, in spring I will be a junior. My cumulative GPA as of this point is 3.16. My major in Computer Science has placed me in many course I think would be relevant to the experiences your company is looking for; courses such as C++, Java, Database Structures, and Database Systems. Some other beneficial courses required by my major are Ethics in Technology and Public Life and Critical Thinking. Being able to apply the knowledge Ive garnered while continuing my education would be wonderful, but the possibility of expanding upon that knowledge or learning completely new things is an even greater incentive to work with your company over the summer. Should I find myself working with your studio I believe that my experiences as secretary, during my junior year of high school, and president, during my senior year of high school, of the Junior Statesmen of America, JSA, will help me to quickly adapt to any kind of working environment and quickly integrate myself, allowing me to function independently or as a member of a team. My Customer Service background from working in Help Desk and as an Assistant could also prove to be beneficial, as I have experiences working with people of greatly varying fields of knowledge when it comes to programming, development, and computers in general. I would very much like to discuss the internship openings at your studio and the qualities you are looking for in greater detail, as well as my interest in and qualifications for said positions. My hours of availability are Monday and Wednesday from 8 A.M to 10 A.M and 5 P.M onwards, every other day I am free from 8 A.M till roughly 5 P.M. If these hours are somewhat problematic you can let me know ahead of time and I can arrange a time to speak with you anytime that is convenient. The best way of contacting me is by phone at (704) 891 2431. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely,

Austin Traylor
