APPLICATION
®
ACTIRON NX3 LC is a versatile Lewis base catalyst specially adapted to accelerate the reaction of
epoxy resins with a wide variety of hardener types such as, amido-amines, amine adducts and

polyamides. ACTIRON NX3 LC can also accelerate the curing of isocyanate based coatings.

ACTIRON NX3 LC provides:

x Faster cross-linking reaction x Cure at low temperature/high humidity

x Higher cross-linking density x Excellent resistance against blushing

ACTIRON NX3 LC is particularly indicated for the use in:

METHOD OF USE AND RECOMMENDED LEVELS

ACTIRON NX3 LC must be incorporated in the hardener. Direct addition to the epoxy resin will lead to a
catalysis. Amount to use can vary from 0.02 till 2%, calculated on solid binder, according to the requested
reactivity.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
®
ACTIRON NX3 LC should be stored in a cool dry place. In original unopened container it will keep 1 year
stability at 20°C.

PACKAGING
®
ACTIRON NX3 LC is delivered in 25kg cans or 200kg drums.
