NON- LUCRATIVE VISITOR VISA UP TO 180 DAYS

(TOURIST/BUSINESS/TRANSIT)

Before applying for a Mexican visa, take into consideration that:

The Mexican immigration authorities have the exclusive prerogative of authorizing or denying entry to
any foreign visitor in national territory. The Consular Section does not have the final decision and cannot
guarantee entry to Mexico, even with an issued visa, since it is a decision of the immigration authorities.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Visa Application form.


2. Valid passport and copy of the front page.
3. One color picture, passport size, front view, with no eyeglasses and white background.
4. Original and copy of the document that proves that the applicant is a foreign legal resident in
Morocco. This only applies for non-Moroccan citizens.
5. Application processing fee $51 USD. Payment is made in cash, in its equivalence to MAD (Nonrefundable if
not approved).
6. Proof of economic solvency:

a) Original and copy of proof of personal investments accounts or personal bank accounts with a monthly
balance of at least $32,000.00 MAD during the previous 3 months of statements (bring the last 3
months of your bank statements, separated by month); OR,

b) Original and copy of documents showing that the applicant has a job or pension that yields a monthly
income of $11,000.00 MAD after taxes during the previous 3 months
(Bring the last 3 months of your pay stubs and the last 3 bank statements that shows the direct deposit
of your salary) and proof of stable employment with a minimum of one year (bring a verification of
employment letter that confirms you have been employed for the past year. The letter must be ink
signed; we do not accept printed PDF documents).

Students over the age of 18: Present original proof of studies, a certificate of scholarship, stable employment,
or pension and the ORIGINAL bank account statements with monthly income equivalent to 60 days of the
current minimum wage in Mexico City (approximately 6,000 MAD) during the last three months (bank account
statements should be monthly, global aren’t accept it).
Economic support from parents (prise en charge) in this case will not be accepted.

Minors: birth certificate of the minor and parent’s marriage certificate of his parents translated into Spanish if
the document is not in French. Financial stability can be proven by either parent and a letter of support is
required. Both parents must be present with an identity document

Important:

• If the applicant is a minor both parents should be present in the appointment day to sign the
application. If only one parent is present, it is mandatory to submit a notarized authorization (Spanish
or French) from the other parent. If minors or persons requiring legal guardianship attend by
themselves or with someone different to their parents, it is mandatory to submit a notarized document
in which their parents or legal guardianship authorize the visa application.
• All bank statements must be original, stamped by your bank. Simple prints from downloaded bank
statements are NOT accepted.
• If the applicant is over 18 years of age, they must demonstrate their own economic and employment
stability. It cannot be proven by a third party.
• The presentation of the visa application file does not imply an obligation on the Embassy of Mexico
to issue a visa. The Embassy reserves its right not to issue visas.
• It is strongly recommended that you do not book your trip or make additional plans until you have gone
through the process, the interview with the Consul and your visa is approved. The submission of flight
ticket is not a visa requirement, so it does not accelerate the processing time of a visa.
