SHAKE IT! SHAKE IT!

With your respective groups, half of the members will have sticky notes on their bodies. As the
music starts, they will shake their body until all the sticky notes fell off. The other members of the
group will then arrange the words or concepts regarding Beauty Care (Nail Care) Services
according to their classification. Once completed, the group will shout their group’s name. The
first group to finish is the winner.

capital or technological expertise in starting up such venture, however it takes up a great deal of
imagination and creativity.

3 F. Developing Mastery
The beauty industry has been a great part of our daily lives just like other industries.
Entrepreneurs who have been successful in this field have combined passion and ability to
understand societal values and artistic trends valuable in their generation.

The class will form five (5) groups. Each group will make and perform a jingle or a short catchy
song wherein they can share with the class why nail care is important.

Having discussed the basic concepts in Beauty Care (Nail Care) Services, why do you think it is an
industry you can take part in?

I. Evaluating learning
Write True if the statement is correct and False if not.
1. The nails serve as protection for the fingers and toes and are made up of different parts.
2. Manicure and pedicure are treatments one can receive wherein nails are groomed.
3. Through periodic maintenance of nails, fungal infection and ingrown nails are not prevented.
4. Individuals can soak hand and feet in a warm soapy water in order to clean the nails.
5. Nail care is considered as the improper maintenance of the fingernails and toenails.

Give at least three (3) ways on how you can instill awareness of the significance of nail care among
