1 Nail Shapes
Ask the students to group into five (5), they will be given boxes of metacards
with nail parts written on it. Let the students post the metacards in the manila
paper with nail diagram.
B. Establishing purpose for the lesson

Ask the students to follow the teacher’s directions and be ready to answer the
guide questions.
LOOK - Look at your finger nails
COMPARE - Compare it with your seat mate
DIFFERENTIATE - Find the difference particularly on your nails

2 Let the students watch a short video presentation showing the different nail
shapes.
D. Discussing new concepts
Let the students have draw lots of different nail shapes then they will
find from their classmates who will match the shape of nail that they’ve got.

E. Continuation of the discussion of new concepts


The teacher will call 5 students and will analyze the following questions that will
match and find the nail that is needed in each finger from the illustration. Paste
the appropriate nail shape.

WHO AM I? (FAMILIARIZE)
1. I am the most famous among the nail shapes.
2. I give the nail tip strength over the oval shape.
3. My shape is very weak as the sides of my nail are totally lost.
4. I am ideal for shorter nails, which is great for those who keep their nails short.
5. I am common along people w/ long, perfect nail beds. I have a natural look
and looks very good in a short-medium length.

reason that makes you decide to choose this nail shape.
