Best Experience as Work Immersion Student

As a work immersion student at Motibot Elementary School, I was

excited to see how the education system worked from a different
perspective. My adventure started with a warm welcome from the school
principal, Maam Carmencita B. Balladares, who showed us around the
campus and introduced us to the teachers and staff.

The first class I visited was a kindergarten class, where I was

welcomed with enthusiastic "hellos" from the students. I was amazed at
how the teacher, Belen, could keep the attention of such young learners.
The teacher had a lot of patience and creativity and used fun and
interactive activities to keep the students engaged.

Next, I visited a grade 2 class where the students were learning how to
read. I remembered how I struggled with reading when I was their age.
The teacher used visual aids and real-life examples to make the concept
easier to understand. I could see the students' faces light up with
understanding as they slowly learned how to read.

In the afternoon, I was tasked with assisting a teacher in a sixth grade

class. I was nervous, but the teacher was kind and patient with me. I
helped the students with their task and even got a chance to share my
own experiences with them. I was tasked with teaching the pupils three
folk dances to be performed the next day, and I am proud of myself that
I managed the task well. This exposure has developed and enhanced my
work ethics and habits. It also opened my mind and heart to the harsh
realities of the workplace environment.

This has taught me to seek great purpose and allow the values I have
acquired through this work immersion to affect not only me but also
those around me. I thank Motibot Elementary School for the last time for
this experience of a lifetime.
