Just remember :

* Whenever is/am/are comes with another verb, we must remove is/am/are from the
sentence.
* kein is used in three cases : if the sentence has *not a* / *not any* or no + noun. If none
of these 3 cases are there, then we use *nicht*.
* Verb should be at the 2nd position.
* The Subject (doer of the action) can come at any of the 2 positions : 1st or 3rd. If you put
time-related word at the 1st position, then the Subject (doer) will go to the third position.
* There is nothing like do/does/did as a helping verb in German. So, wherever you see
do/does/did, just ignore them and bring the main verb to the 2nd position.
