Write a report about an animal.

It can be your pet, your favourite animal or an amazing

animal. You can read an example on p. 87 (Student’s Book). You must include the
following information in your text:

Title of your report: the name of the animal or a more original title. For example: The
King of the Jungle

Description (use adjectives and comparative/superlative sentences). For example: it

has got 4 legs, it is prettier than a goat…

Home (where does it live?). Example: Lions live in savannahs…

Diet (what does it eat/what do they eat?) Lions are carnivores, so they hunt zebras or
antelopes.

Other information (e.g. this animal can't fly, but can run up to 70 kilometres an hour…)

Conclusion or closing sentence: a sentence that summarises the main idea. For
example: lions sometimes look frightening, but they are really interesting creatures…

 Write the information in one paragraph (write about 80-100 words).

 Use connectors (first, and, but, because, so, also, etc.).
 Don’t copy and paste. Use your own words and sentences.
