1.00 Flooring

Marble: Storing, shifting and cutting of 18mm thick marble as per prescribed grid numbers stipulated in the issued drawing or by the EIC. Cut marble slabs to be shifted
(via material hoist) & laid over 35mm to 45mm thick cement mortar bed (1 cement : 5 river sand) and 10mm thick white cement bed as per required finished floor levels
or slopes, placed with white cement slurry on the bottom side to allow for proper bonding to the cement bed. The marble shall be laid in a book matched pattern or
random as per the reference drawing grid, with paper joints and filled with matching epoxy resin based joint filler (Including pigment for colour). Stone protector shall be
used only for white marble on the back & sides.

After laying, the marble surface shall then be grinded, applicated with chemicals, and polished using diamond polishing machine in the following manner:
1) Grinding and preliminary polish
2) Application of epoxy
3) Floor Protection (heavy duty) - LDPE 250 GSM + 6mm SHERA Board
4) 2nd coat of polish
1.01 5) 3rd coat of polish
6) Application of Densifier
7) 5th & 6th coat of polish
8) Basic protection
9) Application of impregnator sealant
10) Final coat of polishing with extra shine chemical

Marble polish will be done to the satisfaction of the EIC and verified as per the gloss meter reading. The contractor is responsible for the removal of all debris, dust and
other materials after the installation, polishing and protection of the marble flooring, this will be deemed complete to the satisfaction of the EIC. The rate includes but
not limited to chamfering, half nosing, full nosing, edge polishing and hole cutting of the marble. All chemicals used must be as per the agreed make of material.
Note: White marble will be laid with cement based adhesive ONLY and stone protector will be applied on the reverse side.

All Consumables like cement, river sand, chemicals such as epoxy grout, polishing chemical, Adhesives, Spacers, Protection Material shall be provided by client. Labour,
Tools & Tackles shall be in contractor scope.

Granite: Storing, shifting and cutting of 18mm/20mm thick granite as per prescribed grid numbers stipulated in the issued drawing or by the EIC. Cut granite slabs to be
shifted (via material hoist) & laid over 20mm to 50mm thick cement mortar bed (1 cement : 5 sand) as per required finished floor levels or slopes, placed with cement
slurry on the bottom side to allow for proper bonding to the cement bed. The granite shall be laid in a book matched pattern as per the reference drawing grid, with paper
joints and filled with matching cement based epoxy grout.

After laying Granite, the surface shall be prepared and protected in the following manner:
1.02 1) Application of matching cement based grout for joints filling
2) Protect the surface (heavy duty)

The contractor is responsible for the removal of all debris, dust and other materials after the installation and protection of the granite flooring, this will be deemed complete
to the satisfaction of the EIC. The rate includes but not limited to chamfering, half nosing, full nosing, edge polishing and hole cutting of the granite. All chemicals used
must be as per the agreed make of material. Only the granite will be provided by the Client, all other material is in the scope of the contractor unless otherwise mentioned.
Wastage greater than 10% will be on the account of the Contractor.

Vitrified/Ceramic/Porcelain Tile: Storing, shifting and cutting of Tiles as per prescribed grid numbers stipulated in the issued drawing or by the EIC. Tiles to be shifted
(via material hoist) & laid over 10mm thick cementitious polymer adhesive layer as per required finished floor levels or slopes. The Tiles shall be laid in a pattern as per
the reference drawing grid, with paper joints or spacers (2mm) as indicated and filled with matching epoxy polymer based grout. It's mandatory for the contractor to use
the following:
1) Tiles laid with a tile levelling system
2) Tiles to be cut using a tile cutting machine and NOT an angle grinder
3) Holes will be cut using a tile hole locater.

After laying the surface shall be prepared and protected in the following manner:
1) Application of matching epoxy polymer based grout for joints filling
2) Protect the surface (heavy duty)

be shifted (via material hoist) & cladded to flush with the POP punning surface over 10 to 12mm thick cementitious polymer adhesive The marble shall be fixed in a book
matched pattern or random slabs as per the reference drawing grid, with paper joints and filled with clear epoxy resin based grout. Stone protector shall be used only for
white marble on the back & sides.

After fixing, the marble surface shall then be applicated with chemical, and polished using diamond polishing machine in the following manner:
2.01 1) 5th & 6th coat of polish
2) Application of impregnator sealant
3) Final coat of polishing with extra shine chemical

5.00 Counters

Marble: Collecting, Storing, Cutting and laying 18mm thick Pre-polished Marble counter of approved quality, selected and sorted for uniform colour of approved
dimensions, design and shade fixed over 19mm thick BWP plywood of approved make to the size of marble using approved adhesive of 4mm thick. Pointing the joints
with matching resin based grout and finished neat including final polishing, washing with necessary chemicals if required etc., complete. The slabs shall have the edges
machine cut and polished to produce very fine joints as approved and shown in detailed drawing. The M.S. brackets shall be firmly fixed by means of anchor bolts as per
5.10 drawing. The rate shall include for making openings in the marble counter for seating washbasins and making hole for pillar cock etc., as per the drawing and details. MS
brackets shall be with MS box 40x40mm, painted a matt black finish as shown in the drawing with spacing of 600mm c/c and covered with end plate of 6mm thick. Rate
to include 20mm edge polishing on the outer edge with groove at bottom and polishing the same as per drawing and as approved by the Engineer In-charge. Top area
shall be measured for payment. Marble will be supplied by client free of cost. All Consumables like MS brackets with paint, anchor bolts,Plywood, cement, river sand,
chemicals such as epoxy grout, stone protector, sealer, Adhesives shall be provided by client. Labour, Tools & Tackles shall be in contractor scope.

5.00 Counters

Marble: Collecting, Storing, Cutting and laying 18mm/20mm thick Pre-polished Marble counter of approved quality, selected and sorted for uniform colour of approved dimensions, design
and shade fixed over 20mm thick waterproof and smooth sanded plywood of approved make of size equal to the size of marble using approved adhesive of 4mm thick. Pointing the joints
with matching resin based grout/mastic and finished neat including final polishing, washing with necessary chemicals if required etc., complete. The slabs shall have the edges machine cut
and polished to produce very fine joints as approved and shown in detailed drawing. The M.S. brackets shall be firmly fixed by means of anchor bolts as per drawing. The rate shall include
5.10 for making openings in the marble counter for seating washbasins and making hole for pillar cock etc., as per the drawing and details. MS brackets shall be with MS box 40x40mm, painted a
matt black finish as shown in the drawing with spacing of 600mm c/c and covered with end plate of 6mm thick. Rate to include 20mm edge polishing on the outer edge with groove at
bottom and polishing the same as per drawing and as approved by the Engineer In-charge. Top area shall be measured for payment. All materials (excluding marble) and tools for marble
