SUBJECT : REPORT ON THE CONDUCTED INVESTIGATION PERTAINING TO THE


COMPLAINT OF DATU MOROY SAG A MAMBUCON ON THE ALLEGED ILLEGAL
QUARRYING IN BARANGAY HALAPITAN, SAN FERNANDO, BUKIDNON

PRELIMINARIES:

This report pertains to the investigation conducted in response to the complaint filed by Datu Moroy Sag A
Mambucon regarding the alleged unauthorized extraction of minerals by the Local Government Unit of San
Fernando in Barangay Halapitan, San Fernando, Bukidnon. A similar complaint was lodged on June 10, 2023,
through the 8888 Citizens' Complaint Hotline, under Ticket Number P20230610-906-4, addressed to the
Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). Concurrently with the investigations carried out by
the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) - Region 10 and the DENR-Provincial Environment and Natural
Resources Office (PENRO) - Malaybalay, this Office initiated a separate investigation into the aforementioned
complaint.
