1st Internal Assessment

Dear Students,
The 1st internal assessment for Financial Management subject shall be the submission of a research paper.
Details of the same are as follows:

Topic for research paper: (choose any one of the following):

1. Dividend relevance and irrelevance theory
2. Capital Asset Pricing Model
3. Loan default and its impact on bank’s profitability.

Evaluation criteria: Total marks = 15.

1. Introduction depicting need and relevance of the proposed research paper. (1 mark)
2. Review of literature. (3 marks)
3. Analysis of the topics and issues addressed by the research paper. (4 marks)
4. Objective of the paper. (2 marks)
5. Methodology that is used or will be used to collect data and analyze the same including research methods
and tools and statistics, if any. (2 marks)
6. Findings and recommendations. (2 marks)
7. References and footnotes. (1 mark)

Word limit: Between 1000 & 2000 words.

Date of submission: Monday, 21st August 2023.

The research paper is to be submitted before 11.59 pm on the date of submission by uploading a PDF of the
same on the MOODLE portal or in case of any technical issues on my email
