Read the following passage and answer the questions given below.

Mary and her class mates went to visit a soft toy factory with their teacher. After a short bus
journey, they reached a large building. They entered a big room which had long tables on one
side and gleaming sewing machines on the other. Young men and women were hard at work.
The machines made clicking and whirring sounds.

They were shown how the patterns of toy animals were cut out of all kinds of fabric. There
was furry brown cloth for teddies and grey, white and pink material for the bunnies. The cloth
was placed under large machines. The operators brought down the machines and in a second,
the animal or doll shape was cut out. Then they went into a hall where beautiful soft toys were
being packed in boxes. They enjoyed their visit and returned home excited and tired.
