one sentence question

I’m an international student on his first year of study abroad, and maintaining
the status quo isn’t my thing. I love of travelling and visiting new countries,
learning new customs and meeting new people with different background.
ICCS project was the right choice to make. During the course, I discovered what
a citizen project was and how to develop one while engaging, indeed, citizens
for a good cause.
This led me to one of the most dynamic and exciting adventure of my life
until now. You see, this program wouldn’t be complete without its mobility
week. This year Barcelona was chosen, in my opinion, one of the best choice.
The Spanish and Catalan culture are an incredible unique source of inspiration,
creativity, and amazement on how they have shaped the country into what it is
today.
Starting by the Mediterranean food and moving on to the openness of the people,
this opportunity made me discover the architectural and historical richness of
was once Barcino shaped by the influence of the Romans, Moors, and Christians
in their own unique way.
I quickly found that, like the protagonist in the film “Lost in Translation” I was
somehow “lost” in a foreign city, but with a new appreciation for the beauty of
intercultural differences.
I gained a deeper appreciation for the beauty of intercultural differences, and
came away with a newfound respect for the complexities and richness of dif-
ferent ways of life. In conclusion, the Mobility Week program offered a truly
transformative experience. By stepping into a foreign culture and embracing
the challenges that come with it, I came away with a deeper understanding of
the world and a newfound appreciation for the diversity of human experience.
This workshop covered various aspects of Spanish culture, including food, archi-
tecture, and language. We learned about the unique traditions and customs of
Spain, and how they have shaped the country into what it is today. The work-
shop also touched on the differences between Spanish and Catalan cultures, and
the significance of the Catalan language in the region.
Intercultural experiences in Barcelona have been eye-opening for us. We have
had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture and learn about
the unique customs and traditions of Spain. One of the most notable experiences
was trying the local cuisine, which is known for its use of fresh ingredients and
bold flavors. We have also had the chance to explore the city and admire its
beautiful architecture, which ranges from Gothic to Modernist styles.
When visiting a new place, we are always eager to learn as much as possible.
We like to explore the local culture, try new foods, and interact with the people.
To truly understand a new place, it is important to immerse yourself in it, and
take the time to get to know the local people, customs, and traditions.

Our group consists of individuals from various backgrounds, with diverse inter-
ests and experiences. We have learned a lot from each other and are grateful for
the opportunity to share our perspectives and knowledge. Our group dynamic
has been very positive and we have formed strong bonds through our shared
experiences.
One of the cultural elements that stands out in our trip to Barcelona is the
significance of the Catalan language and culture in the region. The importance
of preserving and promoting the Catalan language and culture is evident in the
city, and it is a reflection of the strong sense of identity and pride among the
people.
The Citizen Science projects that have been presented to us during our trip have
been very relevant and inspiring. They have given us a new perspective on how
we can contribute to the betterment of our communities and the world at large.
The BiciZen project, for example, is a great example of how citizens can come
together to make a positive impact on their city.
In conclusion, our experiences at UAB have been truly enriching. We have
learned a lot about Spanish and Catalan cultures, and have had the opportunity
to immerse ourselves in the local culture. Our workshops have given us a deeper
understanding of Citizen Science and how it can be used to make a positive
impact. We are grateful for this opportunity and look forward to sharing our
experiences with others.
