Belbedier S.A. case.

Belbedier, S.A. is a business that is in charge of marketing the Gattiker brand in Panama. It needs to
determine the approximate completion time for the commercialization project of the new men's
clothing line.

Commercial Management has two dates for project start-up: January 5, 2023 or February 13, 2023.
Being a company with foreign capital, it respects the holidays approved in the Republic of Panama. To
do so, I will have to perform the calculations and graphs for the two dates.

We work Monday through Saturday in 8-hour shifts. From the third week onwards, Sundays will be
worked in 6-hour shifts considering the two possible starting dates.

You should calculate using the gantt chart, the actual time of the project and recommend to the
Commercial Management, when to start the project according to your consideration and analyzed
elements.

After performing the due analysis and development of this practice through Gantt charts, we can
realize that starting on either January 5 or February 13, 2023, it will take exactly the same amount of
days for the development of the new men's clothing line project. If it starts on January 5, the project
ends on February 26 and if it starts on February 13, it would end on March 6.
As well mentioned in both start dates, it will take the same time in days, however, it is recommended
to the Commercial Management to start the project on February 13, 2023 since the total to be paid for
the completion of the project is $2,544.50, while the first case would be $2,547.50, which represents a
difference and savings of $3.00.
