KYOCERA M2040 DN Printer:

1. Quality:

 We have printed a book i.e. text matter only from 300 dpi to 1200 dpi. Print speed and printing
quality are the same.

2. Paper GSM:

 70, 80, 90 GSM uncoated papers, cut sheets like reflection, and also used cut sheets in our press.
All are feeding and printing well.
 60, 64, 68 GSM should be tried. All these cost less than 70 GSM.

3. Paper Size:

 We print all sizes from 1/8th demmy to legal size.

 It can also print from the by-pass tray. Test should be done.

4. Printing:

 It can print from PC over network and also from memory stick.
 The printer should be tested from internal memory.

5. Speed:

 40-A4 sheets-one-sided printing, 18-A4 sheets-double-sided printing also done.

6. Reasons for slowdown of printer:

 Using high GSM paper or board will heat up the machine and slow down the printer.
 The printer slows down as the machine heats up.
 Taking more than 200 prints slows down the printer.
 The printer slows down because the file size is large, and also if the network data is not properly
received.
