Viña Uzal is a newly established business in a family with a long tradition in

wine making located in Beade, Ourense in the North West of Spain, where the
family comes from.

We select the grapes that meet the high quality standards in the wineyard where
our grapevines are grown with care, the soil is sandy and ideal for grape-
growing. Some of our vines are 60 years old.

The use traditional methods that have been passed from grandparents to younger
generations and the invaluable support of our enologist influence the quality of
the final product .

We have a very limited production of 5000 bottles of white wine and 1000 of
red , as we priorise quality over quantity.

Recently Viña uzal Red has been awarded by Consejo Regulador do Ribeiro with
the golden medal as the best Red Ribeiro of the year and with the Gold Medal
in the Guide of Wines, Spirits and wineries of Galicia published by Luis Padín.
Viña Uzal White has also been awarded with the Silver medal by the same
Guide.

This rewards are the result of a strong passion, determination and effort to get off
the ground this project and the wish to achieve the best products for our
customers.
