On October 9, 2012, in his hometown, Mingora (in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province,
Pakistan), he was the victim of an attack carried out by the Pakistani Taliban
Movement, a terrorist group linked to the Taliban, which, later After boarding the

November 10, 2012, Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that the gunman
who shot Yousafzai had been identified.
The attack immediately drew international condemnation and Malala Yousafzai
received the support of Asif Ali Zardari Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Susan Rice, Desmond
Tutu, Ban Ki-moon, Barack Obama, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Laura Welch Bush,
Madonna, Selena Gomez, among others.

On October 15, 2012, she was transferred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in
Birmingham, in the United Kingdom, to continue her recovery.
Although she had to continue rehabilitation and she underwent reconstructive surgery,
she was released from the hospital on January 4, 2013.
After implanting a titanium plate and a hearing implant in her cochlea, Malala returned
to classes at a secondary school in England.

Malala has certainly had family determination and support. She was also willing to take
incredible risks. But an extreme reduction ended up stopping her. Her tragedy has led
to widespread support, both within her own society and around the world, for the
importance of investing in women and girls.

Never give up or lose hope. Learning from mistakes is necessary, because we all make
mistakes. Promoting education, which is a human right, and investing in it will generate
