THE EFFECTIVENESS OF TESDA NATIONAL CERTIFICATION TO THE JOB PERFORMANCE OF

EMPLOYEES IN SELECTED FAST FOOD INDUSTRY

INTRODUCTION

We all know that working inside the food industry is not easy. You will encounter various
people such as nice, rude, arrogant, etc. that you will interact with. You will challenge or on
how you will overcome a certain situation or problem in a workplace because of that they will
see the performance of an employee. In the food industry, you will exert efforts as an
individual, you will show how hardworking you are and give your best inside the workplace.
This might lead to success and for being motivated to put greater effort into job performance.

According to the study of Del Mundo, Asilo, Caiga, Millando, Papio, and Pradillada (2017)
graduates who are currently employed are using their learned knowledge and skills from their
undergraduate program. Nowadays, it is required by having a National Certificate and it is done
by the Center for Technical Education and it discusses how the graduates will be benefited and
what will be their advantages if they will attain this kind of certificate. The major factors are
going to be beneficial because these TESDA national certifications certify how they will provide
standard training and how they will reflect the effectiveness. The TESDA assessment center
standardized the national certificates on how it will help and benefit the employees. On the
other hand, they will know if the National Certificate is effective in their job.

HYPOTHESIS

● The National Certificate 2 is effective and it will help the employees.


● The National Certificate 2 is useful to hone their job performance inside the workplace.
● It is advantageous to the future employees who took National Certificate 2.
● The National Certificate 2 is beneficial to the employees.
● The National Certificate 2 matters to an employee's job performance.
