OBSERVATION

About Six months ago I started my first work experience at Mazhari Wellness, It’s a

Pharmaceutical industry.

The goal of an internship, especially if it is the first one, is to learn and know new skills and

abilities, and to observe and understand the Pharmaceutical industry, I considered myself a

person who analyzes every situation, every person’s actions, and choice, to find behavioural

patterns that can eventually help me in tuning my approach toward the person in question.I

believe that this mentality can be perfectly adopted by individuals in the way in which they

structure their life, either public or private, to continuously improve. To do that, an

individual experience something, observe and measure what happens, learn from it,

and improve.

The first work experiences serve not so much to practice hard skills such as Excel, Some

software which is used in Pharmaceutical industry, but to observe the dynamics and patterns

to include them in one’s cognitive and decision-making process and implement actions aimed

at improving one’s person and the impact one can have within the work context. Therefore, I

usually track in a journal how the day went, what I did, which behaviours I noticed, and so

on.

What I observed during my internship is listed below:-

Human Resource Planning :

Know how many people are needed in any department of the company, analyse future needs

and take actions accordingly so that the company can run smoothly.
Recruitment and Selection :

They are responsible for recruiting new perfect employees for the organisation.

Continuous Development :

Receiving new employees and providing resources for continued development is a crucial

investment for companies, and HR manages these processes by arranging training and other

learning sessions.

Performance Management :

HR managers keep track of all employees’ performance and reward the correct person, and

thus workers stay productive and engaged.

Maintaining Industrial Relations :

HR teams manage and maintain relationships with the labour union, other collectives and

their members.

Administrative Responsibilities :

HR team manage and develop policies and procedures of the handling of promotions,

relocations, discipline, performance improvement, illness, regulations, cultural and racial

diversity, unwanted intimacies.

Future Planning & Guiding:

HR is also responsible for career planning, guidance, and development for employees.

An internship is an excellent opportunity to learn and acquire excellence in a particular

field. Internship polishes knowledge, skills, abilities and taught us various lessons on that

field.
An internship is beneficial for further professional life, as it provides real-world

tasks and experiences. Internships are the best the way to obtain valuable knowledge that

assists us all over career. Internship experiences help to set a direction, a route which helped

us set career goals and objectives.

KEY LEARNING

1. Communication Skills :

Good communication skills help to reach a career goal easily and make the path a lot

smoother. So, as an HR Intern, it is an important HR skill to acquire.

2. Teamwork :

Teamwork is an essential skill in the modern world. Working with others with respect,

evaluating others opinion and generating the best solution together – are the main facts of

teamwork, and improving these skill sets are also very critical in an HR Internship.

3. People Management :

In an organization, there are people from different races, personalities, thinking and mindsets.

As an HR Intern, one should focus on learning how to work while maintaining respectful

relationships between different types of people.

4. Diversity and Inclusion Equal Success :

Recruiting, working with a diverse workforce, managing them – help any organization grow

high rapidly. An HR internship is an excellent opportunity to learn, apply the process, and

gain experience for the future.

5. Performance Analysis & Management:

The HR team is responsible for tracking all employees’ performance and reward the correct

person. An HR Intern should learn the process, the criteria and facts to consider and inspect

the overall impact to apply in future.

6. Research and Improve:

Research and development is also a core part of the HR department. As an HR intern, one

should research and learn the process of improving the organization structure, working

environment and team satisfaction for future implementations.

7. Always Strive for Better :

An internship is a splendid opportunity to evaluate one’s abilities and skills. A good internee

will be able to learn his/her strength, weak points and improve himself/herself through the

internship.

RECOMMENDATION

Firstly, I want to suggest for the Company. I would like to suggest for Human Resource

Department to provide a meeting with Trainees weekly or monthly to ensure the welfare of

the Trainees are not ignored. It is important for ensuring the health, welfare and fitness of

Trainees in the company.

In fact, a lot of new information can be obtained by the Trainees. Besides that, I expect the

company will provide a suitable place or room for trainees so that they can have a place to do

reports and communicate with other trainees for more knowledge. Moreover, I hope

supervisors could improve motivation session to trainees so can be more competitive and

motivated. This can improve trainees’ skills, general knowledge and expertise on certain

matters.

CONCLUSION

The whole internship was a bundle of new opportunities, with lots of new

responsibilities. It helped me to manage time. Communication is the key to everything

which leads to efficient work, and this internship helps me to develop my

communication skill and also selling skills to Finally I completed my internship with

good expression and impressions and I can say that this internship gave me a

wonderful experience. It helps me to learn about the work processes of Human

Resource Department. I got a proper and advance knowledge about what from this

internship. I also develop my interpersonal skills, knowledge and problem handling

ability and learn various things from this internship with my view, Savoy Suites hotel
