1. What are the strategies of Glenview Community Services in promoting work-life


balance among their employees? How about the strategies of Royal Bank of
Scotland?

The Glenview community Services chooses an employee properly who could


do the great job and they are providing support to develop and excel the employees
while the RBS they focus on providing a flexible time to every employee as well as
the workplace where an employee could do their job anywhere and anytime.

2. What are the benefits of work-life balance in employees and the company itself?

There are a lot of benefit having a work-life balance support of a company to


its employees. First, it increases the productivity of employees as they are
comfortable with the time, place, and people they are working with. Second, the
workplace will be stress-free and helped the mental health of employees. And of
course, employees would stay for a long time and recommend the company to other
people which is very helpful to build a good image of the company.

3. Choose three (3) "perks" from the two (2) aforementioned companies that you want
to have in your future career. Justify your answer.

• Learning and Development. According to Immanuel Vinikas “An empowered


learning and development team improves employee retention.” Which I strongly
agree as I would become an employee someday because it would help to build a
connection from the company’s goal and the work being provided by the employee
and helps to evaluate the organizations health and the employee development
needs.
• Flexibility Working Practices. Every person has its own plan every day,
emergencies and other unforeseen circumstance and offering a flexible working
practice is great deal to retain employees, so every employee could decide where
they are comfortable but should be in a good manner and right process for the
company and employee to be align with the goal.
• Workforce planning. This type of strategy would help every employee to strengthen
their productivity and build a strong relationship with the company. They will be able
to fill the gaps in between and building and improving skills. Just like how the
Glenview support its employees that they are making sure no one is left behind and
they are all in the same page.
