OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT
We are pleased to offer you an employment as an EVIRONMENTAL
HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER effective on 2nd of January 2017. The
terms and conditions of your offer are as follows:

APPOINTMENTS AND REPORTING


The terms of your appointment shall be effective from your date of joining.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Developing plans for the safe disposal of industrial waste in order to
comply with health and safety requirements.
 Monitoring workplace safety conditions and initiating innovative
solutions for potential issues.
 Training of employees and related staff in proper procedures for risk
reduction and worker protection.
 Ensuring that the institution continuously improves performance in
Environmental Health and Safety innovation while maintaining
compliance with Local, State and Federal Environmental and Safety
regulations.
 Collaborate with local departments and other community partners in
establishing an optimum work environment.
 Investigate and take steps to mitigate potential workplace health threats.
SALARY AND BONUSES
The price of the services covered by the present contract shall be set at the
global, all-inclusive, monthly lump sum amount of: N125,550.00 (One
hundred and twenty-five thousand five hundred and fifty naira only) for
each month worked in accordance with the work hours stated in this contract
and adjusted in accordance with provisions herein detailed and not subject for
review for a minimum period of twelve (12)months which review shall be at the
sole discretion of the employer. Withholding Tax, (WHT) at 5% is included in
the price and will be deducted from the total monthly payment – net monthly
sum will therefore be N100, 025.00 (One hundred thousand and twenty-five
naira)
Employee is responsible for and agrees that the global, all inclusive, monthly
sum expressively be inclusive of food, accommodation and any liabilities or
responsibilities in respect to federal or regional taxes, as well as all medical
costs, medicines, terminal benefits, bonuses and transportation.

WORKING HOURS
Employee’s working hours are from 8:30AM to 4PM.
ANNUAL HOLIDAYS
You are entitled to a total of twenty (20) working days leave with pay per
calendar year. And leave must be submitted ten (10) working days in advance.
Any absence due to ill health must be promptly submitted to the management
not later than 24 hours. Duration of sick absence with pay shall, however, be
limited to eight (8) working days per annum.
CONFIDENTIALITY
You are bound to obey the rules of confidentiality in your engagement with the
company, office and client’s matters are not to be discussed publicly. Breach of
this condition of confidentiality shall result to instant dismissal from the
company.
RESIGNATION/ DISENGAGEMENT
Termination of appointment by either party will be subject to one (1) month
notice in writing and in the case of default, a payment of one (1) month basic
salary in lieu of notice is mandatory.
TERMINATION
Termination or dismissal is immediate without notice or compensation due to
disloyalty, dishonesty, divulging of confidential information and lake of
devotion to duties.
GENERAL
The employer’s terms expectation together with your job description will be
given to you upon resumption.
Please confirm your acceptance of this offer of appointment by signing a copy
of this letter of offer and return to us as a sign of acceptance of this terms and
conditions of employment offered to you within three (3) days of receipt of this
letter.
