LETTER OF APPOINTMENT AS A SECURITY GUARD

The management of SUNBAWIERA Health Center is pleased to offer you the position of a
Security man with effect from 1st January.2023.

Details of your role and responsibilities as well as the conditions of service are given below.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title : Security Guard

Department: Security.

Responsible: Medical Director and Health Administrator and Finance

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

1. To provide good Security Services at the premises in the facility.


2. To provide a safe environment for staff, patients and visitors to the health center.
3. To communicate to all levels and participate in the development of the health center in
connection with Security issues’

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your roles and responsibilities include but are not limited.

1. Coordinate with other units of the facility to ensure proper security.


2. Report any lost items immediately to the Director or Administrator.
3. Ensure that you report to any staff before closing .
4. Be prepared to assist at any unit for the smooth running of the facility.
5. Ensure that all equipment in the health centre are adequately maintained and in good
order.
6. Work within the boundaries of agreed protocol and contributing to the development
and updating of these protocols.

WORKING HOURS:

Your working hours will be scheduled for you by the head of your department. However, you
will be called to do emergency duties as and when the need arises.

REMUNERATION:

The job is placed on a Salary of Three Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHS 300.00). Per month under
our salary pay policy from the date of signing this agreement.

Note that, the salary would be computed based on the number of days worked in the month.
You may be entitled to annual salary adjustment when the need arises but this will be subjected
to conclusive acceptance by the Director and management. Overtime will not be paid.

PROBATIONARY PERIOD:

You will be required to serve Six (6) months period of probation. During this period, you may
be assessed and may be informed two (2) weeks before the expiry of probation as to whether
you will continue in our employment or not. The criteria for successful completion of the
probationary period shall be the meeting of specific targets, proper adjustment to corporate
culture, working protocols and work environment.

PERFORMANCE REVIEW:

A review of your performance will be at the end of every quarter.

LEAVE:

You may be entitled to two weeks rest at any period of the year and should be discussed or
arranged with the head of department and a letter written to the administrator before starting.

Note that any absenteeism from work would be deducted from your monthly salary based on
the number of Days you worked.

MEDICALS:

The health centre does not offer free medical care to its staff. You will be treated based on cash
and carry like other patients outside.

LEAVING THE HEALTH FACILITY:

You are required to give at least one (1) month notice to management if you should decide to
leave the organisation or forfeit one-month salary in lieu of that.

CONDUCT OF STAFF AND MANAGEMENT:


All staff, officers, volunteers and workers working with SUNBAWIERA Health Centre are
expected to be guided in their work and actions by a high sense of duty, morality and principles.
However, any individual who may find it difficult to work under such principles may have to
relinquish or resign his/her position voluntarily in writing or be requested by the Directors and
management to do so.

TERMINATION OF APPOINTMENT:

1. The management of SUNBAWIERA Health center reserves the right to terminate this
contract, if in the course of your engagement we find your conduct not appropriate and
the general terms of reference breached.
2. If you absent yourself from work for three (3) days without explanation or permission
your contract will be considered terminated.
3. If you divulge any confidential information about clients or the health facility to the
public or any statement, broadcast, article based on your experience with the health
centre without any authority from the medical Director you contract is considered
terminated.

You are to give an acceptance letter within three (3) working days indicating your acceptance of
the offer. Due to the large number of applications the Offer may be given to another person if
you fail to respond within the three (3) days’
