Importance of Marks
▪ Colleges, cégeps, universities, etc. will be using your grade 10 final marks
and grade 11 Term 1 (maybe Term 2) marks to make acceptance
decisions.
▪ If you fail term 1 or 2 pre-requisites, you will not get accepted into your
program (cégep).
▪ If you fail a grad requirement in term 1 or 2, you may not get accepted
into your program (Cégep).
▪ Montreal cégeps have strict cut-off averages. Check with your guidance
counsellor.
▪ If you get accepted into your program, you still need to meet the
requirements and averages at the end of the year.
