OTHER HAZARDS : Obtain special instructions before use. Do not handle until all safety
precautions have been read and understood.
Use personal protective equipment as required.
If dust clouds can occur, avoid breathing dust.

SECTION Ⅳ -FIRST AID MEASURES

EMERGENCY/FIRST AID PROCEDURES : If irritation develops from processing vapors or

decomposition products remove individual from area
and call physician.

SECTION Ⅴ -FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

FLASH POINT(METHOD USED) FLAMMBLE LIMITS LEL:N/A UEL:N/A

ASTM D1929 320℃-390℃ Plasticizer portion of pooduct formulation
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA : Water,ABC Drychemical,AFFF Protein
SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES : NFPA Class A “Ordinary Combustible”CO not
recommended.
Wear Positive Pressure SCBA

UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS :

Most vinyl compounds will not support combustion because they require a higher
concentration of oxygen for burnig than is present in the earth’s atmosphere. Any vinyl can
be forced to burn by continuous application of heat. When foreced to burn, the primarry
combustion products will be hydrogen chloride gas, carbon monooxide, and carbon dioxide.
Hydrogen chloride gas has a very corrosive effct on many metals.
Affected surfaces should be washed to remove corrosive deposits as soon as possible after
depositions have occured.

SECTION Ⅵ -ACCODEMTAL RELEASE MEASURES

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED : N/A

SECTION Ⅶ -HANDLING AND STRAGE

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN WHEN HANDLING AND STORING :

1) Sprinklered warehouses are recommended. although most vinyl sheeting will not support
combustion, materials such as carbdboard boxes, wooden pallets, and other cobustibles
can provide sufficient fuel to cause vinyl to burn.
2)Always wear rubber gives when cleaning exhaust equipment or other surfaces.
3)Regrinding of scrap generates substantial heat, which will not readily dissipate due to
vinyl’s excellent insulating properties. This could result in slow thermal decomposition of
materials, rending the vinyl unsatisfactory for further prodessing and possibiy causing release
of fumes and vapors to the workplace.

SECTION Ⅷ -EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION : Positive pressure SCBA for fire fighting

VENTILATION : Good general ventilation(typically 10 air changes per hour)should be sufficient

to control airborne levels during operations requiring heating of material.
EXPOSURE GUIDELINES : TLV None established
PROTEDTIVE GLOVES : When material is heated.
EYE PROTECTION : Recommended for all industrial workplaces.
