Using the Points to Passing (PTP) Template

Download your Gradebook

1. From your gradebook, click on the Export button (not Export to SIS)

2. Choose the following options:

3. Scroll down and select Export To Excel

4. Once the file is ready, click Download


Populating the Template

1. Copy the data in your workbook under the following headers into the PTP template:
OrgDefinedID, Username, Last Name, First Name, Calculated Final Grade Numerator, Calculated
Final Grade Denominator. The easiest way to do this for each column is to click in the second
row (first row with data under the heading), hold control-shift-down arrow, and then control-C
to copy.
2. Paste the data into the PTP template.
3. The formulas in columns G and H will populate.
4. Column H tells you how many points a student needs to pass or if they are already passing. The
points needed are always rounded up to the next whole number.
