Create a Poster Size Core Board

Use the following pages to create a poster size low tech board. This might make for easier
laminating since you will be using 8.5 X 11 paper to create. The final organization would look like
this:

Here are some ideas for use:

• You can decide to put all the words up or only the ones you are working on and add as you
go. This classroom played a fly swatter game with the words.

• This example shows it taped to the floor and the students could play games or step on the
words.

• Be creative. Use the individual words to model at table activities, point to them if they are
up on the board, introduce the new word and add it to the wall.
• Use these individual buttons as pull-offs to a full wall chart.
