 Indonesia's ambitious goal is to become one of the world's economic giants by 2045,
a vision known as "Golden Generation 2045." This vision is underpinned by a demographic
bonus, forecasting that by 2030, Indonesia's population will be dominated by young people
aged 15-30, totaling 65.82 million or 24% of the entire population. With this substantial youth
population and their visionary thinking, they play a pivotal role in realizing the "Golden
Generation 2045." Achieving this ambitious goal requires efforts beyond the government,
necessitating active participation from the youth themselves, including joining youth
organizations. Youth organizations provide platforms for young people to develop and
execute positive initiatives aligned with their specific contexts, such as campuses, religious
groups, or communities. They aim to unite youth, strengthen national unity, nurture potential,
foster environmental awareness, enhance global competitiveness, and offer constructive
policy feedback (Saputra, 2017). These objectives drive Indonesia toward its "Golden
Generation 2045" goal, with specific actions such as community service, character
development or skills training, and collaboration.

Youth organizations actively contribute to their communities by enhancing social

welfare. Employing a community development approach empowered communities to
become self-reliant and prosperous. This approach entails comprehensive steps, including
analyzing community issues, identifying specific objectives, devising solutions, and
implementing activities through community development strategies. Through these
organizations, young individuals engage in various initiatives, such as teaching in
underserved schools (discontinued schools), delivering positive education to the community,
participating in infrastructure projects, preserving the environment, and advocating
community issues to the government (Rusmaniah et al., 2021). These actions not only
positively impact the community but also deepen the youth's understanding of social issues,
equipping them to contribute to Indonesia's progress in 2045.

Besides the community service of youth organizations, an important aspect is

character and skills development, as youth organizations can provide skills training and
character building. Youths with the abilities and skills needed by the environment will
certainly have many opportunities to be useful to society. The improvement of these skills
begins with the role of youth organizations in accommodating training by the business fields
in which they are engaged (Budiani, 2007). In addition, through character training, there will
be characters with good leadership qualities, both for personal and group or organizational
interests in carrying out daily activities or activities, which can be created as part of strategic
steps that can increase productivity (Sahlan & Nurdin, 2022). This impact is seen in the
improvement in the quality of youth and their role in society, who are ready to realize
Indonesia's golden generation in 2045.

In youth organizations, important aspects of community service, character, and skill

development go hand in hand with networking and communication, and youth organizations
can help network and collaborate between the youth and the community. Good cooperation
will result in useful outcomes for the community through earnestness, determination, and
expertise exercised by youth with a sincere heart, solely for the improvement of their
environment. The implication is that youth, through youth organizations, will become more
impactful to society (Asmahasanah et al., 2020). About the efforts to realize the golden
generation in 2045, good cooperation and collaboration will produce a positive culture of
unity to unite youth as a movement capable of bringing about change.

Youth organizations play an important role in community services, character

development, skills, networking, and collaboration. Through community services, youth can
contribute positively to society's welfare. Character and skill development help youth to be
better prepared to play a role in society. Meanwhile, good collaboration and cooperation
between youth and society will create a culture of unity that supports the goal of the "Golden
Generation 2045." To realize this ambition, youth needs to be actively involved in youth
organizations and contribute positively to society. By doing so, Indonesian youth can play a
key role in leading the country towards the "Golden Generation 2045."
