We use there is to say that something exists or is in a place.

We use there is for singular nouns and there are for plural nouns.

Many Much A lot / A lot of

We use Many for things we can count, e.g,: many books, many pens, many chairs, many
people, many trees, etc.
We use Much for things we cannot count, e.g.: much sugar, much water, much bread, much
money, much love, etc.
We can use ‘A lot of’ instead of many or much.
We can also use ‘A lot’ after a verb or in the end of a sentence, to emphasize the action.
e.g: I like chocolate a lot. My dogs eat a lot every day.
