This unit covers the competences required to demonstrate understanding of comparative studies, trends and issues
in education. It involves analyzing education and training system in Kenya and comparing Kenyan education
and training system with those of selected countries.
Summary of Learning Outcomes
Examine educational trends in Kenya.
Assessment
Assessment will be in form of credits gained from group presentations, assignments and the final examination
Distribution of marks:
2 Continuous assessment tests = 100%
Final examinations: = 100%
The average of the CATS and the final examination will give your final grade for this unit.
