In the academic year 2022-2023, The Oxford College of Engineering in
Bengaluru had five active Computer Science Clubs: AIML, Coding, Cyber
security, Web Technology, and IOT. The Coding club, led by Prof. Dr. E.
Saravanakumar, kicked off its activities with a workshop on software coding and
different software platforms. This workshop was a great way for students to dive
into the world of programming and understand the various tools and platforms
available for coding. It's part of our ongoing efforts to enhance students' computer
science skills and knowledge in a practical and engaging manner.

On August 23, 2023, our coding club conducted an engaging and informative
activity. The event commenced with an inaugural session featuring a compelling
PowerPoint presentation. This presentation delved into the world of software
coding, elucidating various software platforms and their significance in the modern
tech landscape. Attendees gained valuable insights into the diverse coding
environments available.

Following the presentation, the club organized an interactive quiz via Google
Forms, focused on C programming. Participants tested their knowledge and
problem-solving skills in the realm of programming. It was a great opportunity for
members to reinforce their coding prowess while also fostering a spirit of healthy
competition.

Overall, the event on August 23 was a resounding success, promoting the club's
mission of enhancing coding skills and fostering a sense of community among tech
enthusiasts.
