Breathing heavily, sweat running down his

face, the smell of strong foul that made him

gag, the sound of ringing in his ear, he was
about to faint on the spot.

He took a second to re-think the whole thing…

“what am I doing..?” he barely whispered.

He felt himself as a kid again, but it was a..

flashback..?

“you’re useless!” “you’re weak!” “man up!”

His father’s words ringed in his head.

Shockingly, he felt he again was in a horrible

flashback, and he wished he would never see,
hear or feel it again.

“Please!!” he said sobbing “I’m sorry.” Luka, his

best friend, replied to his sobbing best friend.
“Please Luka you’re the only one I have left,
Carlos, Charlotte and TJ left the country, Lia,
Alex and Sam just disappeared!” he said
falling down to the ground.

“I’m so sorry Louis, it’s not like I want it, I

know it hurts” Luka replied, feeling so bad, not
because of him losing to cancer, it’s because
Louis will end up all alone.

Louis needed him more than ever, he was not

only his best friend, he was his brother, not
biologically, but definitely mentally .

Luka grabbed Louis and got him up, he looked

at him, he looked so hurt, he knew it affected
him so barely but like he did have a choice.
Luka hugged Louis and pulled him back to look
back to him to speak up.
“Listen to me Louis. I know you’re going
through some hard time because of your
parents. And I’m here just to tell you that one
day, you’ll find someone, something or
anything that WILL light your life up. But
remember, if you ever think about doing
anything to yourself, think about what you
promised me, you won’t hurt yourself, okay?
You promise that you won’t hurt yourself and
that if you get the opportunity to light up your
life, whether it’s a person, a place, anything or
anyone that helps you, I approve.” Luka’s voice
almost broke in front of his best friend, but he
failed at the end.

“I’ll never miss you, Brother.” Louis can barely

see, his vision was blurry because of his own
tears, he knew he wouldn’t survive and no one
would want him, but he was so wrong.

He suddenly got another flashback, was this

real? Or was it just him?
