Is Traditional Classroom better than the Homeschool method?

The lecturer supports the Homeschool method and casts doubt on the information presented in
the reading passage.

First of all, the reading states that children by homeschooling don’t learn as much as those ones
in traditional classroom education. Contrary to that point of view, the lecturer suggests that there
isn’t any proof which can affirm that studying at home makes children learn less than in a
classroom and even some scientific studies show that they learn far more than traditional
methods.

Secondly, the reading mentions that there is a lack of social interaction in the homeschool
method, because a child can just interact with his or her parents or siblings. On the other hand,
the lecturer confronts that opinion by explaining that in homeschool education exists, in fact,
more opportunities for social interaction than the traditional way because they can interact with
other children at any time they want if their parents let them do it.

Finally, the passage communicates that home-based education doesn’t have a broad
curriculum, that is, it just contains a de number of subjects. Nonetheless, the professor of the
listening track, stands that the curriculum in homeschooling can be as varied as want it to be,
and it's not limited by traditional school boards.

To sum it all up, the lecturer refuses every reason presented in the reading passage and shows
clearly his point of view about why homeschooling is better than traditional school.
