Research Title: “Impact of Training and Development on Employee’s
Performance using Digital Technology Platforms.”

Research objectives:

To analyze how Employee Training improves their productivity with the use of latest Digital Technology
Platforms.
To assess if the skilled employees are the greatest resources and assets for any business/ organization if they
adopt latest digital technology platforms.
To analyze if Employees Productivity using latest Digital Technology Platforms has any significant impact on
organizational performance.
Designing of an innovative validated conceptual model establishing Impact of Training and Development on
Employees Performance.

Research objectives:

Research Methodology:

This research will be based on study, nature, population, sampling, data collection and analysis. A brief overview is given in
succeeding lines.
Research Design:
This study is based on the deductive approach. Methodology, which will be used in this research, is cross sectional and
quantitative in nature. Survey questionnaires will be used for collection of data.
Unit of Analysis:
Unit of analysis is entity which being analyze during the empirical research study. Here unit of analysis is management
employees working in the training and development functional domain
of the selected organization i.e. Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL).
Population and Sampling Frame:
The set of cases from which the samples are drawn is referred to as population (Saunders, 2011). In countries such as
Pakistan, the exact no of training and development specific organizations is less in number shine the sample size will be
selected with care.
5. Sample Size:
Item response theory will be used to determine sample size which suggests multiplying the number of questions with the
number 10.The resultant number will be the required sample size.

6. Sampling Technique:

Convenience sampling will be used for this study. Convenience sampling is based on the convenience and ease of the researcher in data

collection. Specific respondents will be chosen for data collection so that the sample may represent the true characteristics of the intended

training and development functional domain individuals/population in the organization (PTCL).

Data Analysis

The study will use SPSS for the data analysis. The descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviations will be measured with SPSS.

Also Cronbach’s alphas and correlations will be calculated with SPSS. Regression Analysis for hypothesis testing will be done.
