Incident Information:

At 4:47 am the morning of October 21, 2023, the Missoula Fire Department was dispatched to
a structure fire at the Wildflower Apartments for a reported fire coming from a bedroom window
and audible alarms going off.

Three engines, a ladder truck, a command vehicle, an ambulance, and an investigator were
dispatched to the scene.

The first arriving engines reported heavy smoke and flames coming from a ground-level
apartment bedroom window. Crews performed a transitional attack, made quick entry, and
isolated/controlled the fire to the bedroom. Crews successfully extinguished the fire. No injuries
were reported.
