Narrator:

There once was a student named Sera who works part time . She has high hopes and big
dreams however, Sera needs to finish her college life before achieving her dream life. So,
let’s take a look at how Sera manages her money and works towards her goals.

(Sera finishes working in the cafe)

Tommy:

Here’s your weekly pay Sera, you’ve been working well.

Sera:

Ahh Thank you so much boss!

Tommy;

I expect you to do well next week. Stay safe on your way home.

Sera:

Yes, thank you so much!

Narrator:

Sera receives her weekly pay and heads back home.

Sera:

Hmm no no.. I earned 3000 this week, 600 goes to transportation,900 on food, 900 for
savings, so I’ll be left with 600 that I can spend.

Though, I really need to buy this 2000 peso gift for my boyfriend that I’ve been saving up for.
AHH BUT I REALLY WANT THIS NEW MAKE UP SET FROM ROMAND THAT WAS
RELEASED YESTERDAY. Hmm technically,I get to have 400 for myself since I only need
200 left for the gift. But 400 isn’t enough for the makeup that I want!!
(Sera’s inner monologues appears)

tommy: Sera.. Buy the gift you’ve been saving up for instead and either save the 400 or give
yourself a well deserved treat.

alex: noo Sera buy both the makeup that you want and the gift, you can just take some
money from your savings to buy both.

Tommy: no! Sera, don't listen to her, remember to spend your money wisely!

Alex: No, Sera you should buy the things you desire. You’ve been working soooo hard in that
cafe, you deserve to splurge some for yourself.

Tommy: Sera, don't listen to her!

Alex: nooo sera listen to him!!

(sera dramatically shakes her head)

Sera: AGH! Should I buy it or not?!

Alex: (comes closer to Sera) Go, go buy both..

Tommy: (Comes closer to Sera and hushes Alex) *muffled alex noises from the back* Sera,
which item do you really want from the make up set and how much is it? *pushes alex from
the scene (please don’t push too hard)*

Sera: The lipstick is 300 plus shipping fee, so maybe around 350..

Tommy: Then.. you should buy that since you deserve it..

Sera: You're right.. I don’t need the other cosmetics that were released anyway..

Tommy: Exactly!

(Sera dramatically looks at the audience)

Sera: Alright! I’ll buy the gift and the lipstick! By doing so, I’ll be buying the gift that I need to
give and the lipstick I deserve as a treat for working hard!

Tommy: That’s it! Good job Sera!

(Sera wears a blazer)

Narrator: Magical timeskip~~!

Sera: I am now a successful business woman and one of the reasons that has helped me to
get to this point is by being mindful of my savings! Because of this, I managed to save
enough to support my parents with my tuition fee! Remember, the small things matter!
