Environmental Stewardship

- Through reducing emissions, conserving water, and efficiently managing waste.


- They also actively support the government’s programs promoting the use of clean fuel,
recognizing its importance in achieving sustainable and cleaner energy sources. Additionally, they
are committed to continuous development and embracing future technologies for a greener and
more sustainable future.

Petron NAIA or JOCASP

- They conducted a coastal clean up at Las Pinas – Paranaque Critical habitat and ecotourism
area
- They collected 30 sacks of Garbage.

Legazpi Terminal

- Conducted a clean up in the renilisan creek


- The collected 13 bags equivalent to 69.4 kgs of non-bio waste

Limay Terminal

- They held tree planting activity at Upper duale with their contractors and limay local government
unit
- They planted around 1,500 to 2,000 seeds

Palawan terminal

- They clean the canal leading to the residential areas of Brgy. Maunlad and they successfully
unclogged all the waste inside that canal
- They recovered about 8kgs of plastic bottles

Rosario Terminal

- Held tree planting activity with volunteers from their terminal, contractors, and drivers of Petron
LPG dealers

Poro Terminal (San Fernando city, La union)

- Conducted a coastal clean up with Philippine Coast guard environmental protection command
northwest Luzon at Poro baywalk area
- They gathered around 100kgs of residual waste ( Residual waste is nonhazardous industrial
waste. It includes waste material (solid, liquid or gas) produced by industrial, mining and
agricultural operations).

San Pablo LPG Refilling Plant

- They held a clean up initiative along the 1km main thoroughfare or road of the city
- They also collaborated with DENR(Department of Environmental and Natural Resources ,
CENRO(Community environment and natural resources office), and Brgy. Officials to raise
awareness on environmental conservation.

Petron Freeport Corporation Subic Plant

- Conducted a plastic waste collection and collected 26 kilos of plastic waste


- They also planted 20 Narra Seedlings outside the terminals perimeter

Batangas terminal

- They held a forum addressing plastic pollution and the circular economy (an economic system
based on the reuse and regeneration of materials or products, especially as a means of
continuing production in a sustainable or environmentally friendly way.)
- They also conducted a waste segregation activity

Here are the three major programs of Petron’s iFUEL Environment

1. Bataan Integrated Coastal Management Program


- They are also collaborated with the Provincial Government, Municipal Government of Limay,
PENRO-Bataan, and People's Organizations SAMASAKA(Samahang Magsasaka Sa Kagubatan
Ng Limay, Bataan, Inc.) and AFPAI(Alangan Farmers Producers Association, Inc.) in Bataan to
reforest 300 hectares of watershed in Limay. This, along with other tree and mangrove planting
activities, supported DENR's goal of planting 1.5 billion trees from 2011 to 2016.
