Read the conversation between Emma and John.

Emma: The weather has been so hot lately, hasn't it?

John: Absolutely! It's been scorching. I'm actually looking forward to some rain.
Emma: Well, you might be in luck. The forecast says we could have some showery weather later
in the week.
John: That's a relief. I was getting tired of the constant sunny days. Did you see the misty
morning we had yesterday?
Emma: Yeah, it was quite foggy too. I had to drive slowly because the visibility was so low.
John: Speaking of fog, I hope it doesn't get worse. Foggy days can be so dull.
Emma: Agreed. I prefer when it's sunny and warm. Although, I heard there might be thunder and
lightning tonight.
John: Oh, I hope not. I don't like the idea of a storm, even if it breaks up the hot, dull weather.
Emma: Well, let's keep an eye on the weather updates. Maybe it'll just stay rainy and showery
without any thunderstorms.
