Absence Requests (Time Off) All Workers

MANAGE YOUR ABSENCE (TIME OFF) SUBMIT TIME OFF REQUESTS


Connect to Workday from University’s homepage and login with your From the Absence application:

Absence Requests (Time Off) All Workers
CANCEL A SUBMITTED TIME OFF REQUEST THAT
IS NOT YET APPROVED For additional help with absence, speak to your
supervisor or Human Resources (318-257-2235).
Submitted time off requests that have not yet been approved can be
canceled. Once approved, you must correct the request to cancel it.
From the Absence application:
1. Click Request Absence or Correct My Absence to access the
absence calendar.
2. Click the time off entry on the calendar.
3. Click Cancel this Request.
4. Enter a comment (required).
5. Click Submit, then Done.

MODIFY PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED AND


APPROVED TIME OFF REQUESTS
From the Absence application:
1. Click Request Absence or Correct My Absence to access the
absence calendar.
2. Click the time off entry on the calendar.
3. Select the day(s) you want to correct or click the Remove Row

icon to remove the days.


4. Enter the Type (if changing).
5. Adjust requested hours in the Quantity per Day field.
6. Enter comment for change.
7. Repeat steps 3-6 until all days are correct.
8. Click Submit.
