O’ Level Biology seminar

At Buddo Secondary School

On Saturday 08th July 2023
Highlights
1. Mode of discussions
▪ Our seminars are interactive. From 08:30 Am to 01:00 pm, the learners
from different schools are allowed to present their findings to the assigned
questions.
▪ After every presentation, the carefully selected facilitators wrap up the
discussed question by highlighting the examiners’ expectations and what
candidates should avoid as regards to question.
▪ All participants are free to ask questions, which are answered by our
carefully selected facilitators.
▪ From 02:00 pm to 03:30 pm, carefully selected facilitator(s) for biology
paper 1 (theory) presents guidelines and tactics that do enable a learner
to excel in biology paper 1 (theory).
▪ From 03:30 pm, carefully selected facilitator(s) for biology paper 2 / 3
(practical) presents guidelines and tactics that do enable a learner to excel
in biology paper 2 (practical).

2. Seminar booklets
Our seminar Booklets are entitled, “Excel in Biology in Just a Day” just
because they contain all what can make a learner excel in biology. These
booklets contain:
▪ Abilities and skills tested in Biology examinations.
▪ Challenges in theory examination of biology.
▪ Challenges in practical examinations of biology.
▪ Solutions to the challenges in biology examinations.
▪ Terms used in biology examinations.
▪ Carefully set Questions and their respective answers.
In addition to the above unique features, this year’s seminar booklet shall
include:
➢ Tactics and techniques of passing biology paper 1 highly, section by
section.
➢ Skills on graphical work in biology such as how to:
• Correctly represent data on graphs.
• Describe the graphs: trend / shape, relationship, effect, similarities
and difference.
• Explain the graph.

3. Quality of questions
▪ The seminar questions are carefully set with great consideration of ordinary
level syllabus.
▪ The questions are categorized under their respective topics.
▪ Solutions to questions are made basing on ordinary level recommended
textbooks. Solutions are carefully coordinated by senior teachers.
▪ Because of good quality of questions set, sometimes by coincidence, miracles
happen. For example:
