convey the key characteristics and the
relationship between the brand and the
SiFive ecosystem.

Compute design is extremely intricate,

high stakes, precision work that demands
the highest degree of creativity and
inventiveness.

Use this guide to familiarize yourself with

the brand style and reference for creating
any assets for the brand.

The grid

SiFive is the building block for our customers'

dreams and vision. It's the foundation they
build their products on.

We provide a solid foundation and the grid,

used in all designs becomes a subtle and
ever-present reminder of our company's
integrity and quality of our designs.

The layouts for documents, webpages,

presentation slides, social media graphics,
etc. all rely on a grid.

The grid lines are evenly spaced both

vertically and horizontally making a field of
squares. Everything in a design falls in
alignment with these.

The black box

Black rectangles are used as a design element

that are both accents to layouts and provide
continuity to designs.

The horizontal black rectangle is used both to

draw focus in a design as well as indicate
where a portion of content concludes.

Black squares can be used to guide the eye

toward other elements in a layout ond to
provide balance to a design. to provide

clear space to create structure without

 Logo: overview

The SiFive logo is the mark with the

company name in the side-by-side lockup
shown here. The mark can be used
independently in assets where the
complete logo has already appeared. The
mark can be used independently when
used secondarily in an asset where the
Logo (lockup) Shield
complete logo has already appeared.

The SiFive logo represents many things.

Among those are the enormous
contribution to computing of RISC-V
technology developed by engineers at
SiFive and the leadership role SiFive plays
in the RISC-V compute ecosystem. The
Shield makes a clever reverence to both a
"5" and an "S.“

 Logo: clear space

The minimum clear space for the logo is

defined by the height of the "F" in the logo. As
such, the necessary clear space will increase
or decrease relative to the size of the logo.

The logo can be placed on the left or right,

top or bottom of a design as long as the
clear space is maintained.

An official logo file should always be used,

and the individual elements should never be
moved relative to each other. (i.e., the name
of the company should never be set using a
separate font or moved closer or further
from the symbol).

Logo: visibility

The logo is always shown in one color.

Use the black logo on light backgrounds

for optimal contrast and clarity.

Use the white logo on dark backgrounds

where visibility may be compromised if the
black logo is used.

 Logo: incorrect usage

The logo can be proportionally

resized but should not be altered or
distorted in any way.
Don’t modify the color. Don’t apply effects. Don’t rotate.

Don’t put the logomark on the right. Don’t fill the inside with any color including white. Don’t distort.

Sofia Pro Bold Headlines and Subheads Typeface

Sofia Pro Light is the primary weight and

Color proportions
In any given design, think of the proportions as
75% white, 20% black, and 5% (or less) orange.
In cases where black is being used as the
primary background color, swap the

Social media

Graphics created for social media should have

the core design elements and use the primary
colors in the proper proportions.

Mosaics: overview
The mosaic images are intended to be used
with content that is broad topically, like the
overall state of computing technology, or the
industry in general or other topics
that are broader than a specific product or
industry. The image should be recognizable
through the "tiles" of the mosaic.
